Positives Great location. 10 minute walk to Retiro Park, Atocha station and Menendez Pelayo Metro station. The bus stop is a short walk away. There are 2 convenience stores nearby for drinks and snacks as well as a cafe. Negatives The hotel does not have an iron in the room, they offer laundry and ironing service. The hotel interior is dated. WiFi is slow.

Nice large room 516, good ac, clean bathroom. Staff are helpful, Cafe on ground floor was excellent for drinks and snacks, ordering a taxi was easy. Hotel is in great place for the Prado and Botanical gardens and hop on bus tours. Breakfast buffet looked good, we only had coffee as going to airport. Would recommend.

The hotel itself was nice and clean and in a good location. The rooms were nice but the fridge was full of the hotel stuff, so if you took anything yourself you couldn’t put anything in it. The view from our room was the worse view I’ve ever had, we seemed to be in a small square with other rooms each side and opposite. The breakfast was ok, more continental. Most of the staff were friendly except the head of the restaurant, when we had a meal downstairs our food was literally chucked at us!

We had a double standard room at the end of a corridor with a window to the patio. Its seemed a suffocating room that we didn't like to go back to the room. It had a refrigerator but it was locked and we had to pay deposit to have the key.it had safe but for the safe key you had to pay deposit aswell. The internet was very poor even it was not possible to make a voice phone call. And there was so many noise in this hotel actually in our room since beginning in the morning, from every where.it was a bad experience. The breakfast was so so . Limited choices . The furniture was enough but the bad thing was our bed which had wheels and it was moving as we moved all the time, while we were sleeping . The good thing about the hotel is the location which was really near to the Atocha train station .

The hotel is nice, clean and friendly. Has everything you need and will sort out taxi to the airport etc. Great place for short stay and close to all amenities. The Gardens are next door so you can stroll through the the centre of Madrid. The Railway station is only a couple of minutes walk. The hotel has a good restaurant and bar, but we preferred getting out with the locals. Did have the odd nightcap there before bed though. This is the second time I've used this hotel and would recommend.
